Materials: Graph Rubric, Handout with lab procedure and table, PowerPoint, and SmartBoard
Opening: To complete a graph that shoes the gravity on all of the planets in the solar system so we can compare the gravity on earth to them. Then complete a graphic organizer comparing an asteroid and a meteor.
Engagement: The students will be completing an in class lab that focuses on mass. They will clearly define the focus question, hypothesis, materials, procedure, results, claims, evidence, and conclusion in their scientists notebook.
Closing: Review of the unit for the upcoming test.
